LongListSelector - Determine if the group items view is displayed

Hi,
 
Is there a way with the LongListSelector to determine if the group items view is currently being displayed? Ive checked through the properties on the object model and nothing leaps out at me.

I'm thinking about something like that. What would you do if you got events that told you when the group items view was being displayed or closing?

Added some support for this with changelist 57505. I will be updating the installer and sources zip.
