Is there way to apply Tilt Effect to LongListSelector?

Closing; the Mango toolkit uses a proper ListBox so this should 'just work' without the nice workarounds listed here.

Yes please! This would make it fit nicely with the way a regular ListBox works.

You can do this by wrapping everything in your LongListSelector's items DataTemplate within a ListBoxItem.

Before:

<DataTemplate x:Key="LongListSelectorItemTemplate">
<StackPanel toolkit:TiltEffect.IsTiltEnabled="True">
...
</StackPanel>
</DataTemplate>


After:

<DataTemplate x:Key="LongListSelectorItemTemplate">
<ListBoxItem>
<StackPanel toolkit:TiltEffect.IsTiltEnabled="True">
...
</StackPanel>
</ListBoxItem>
</DataTemplate>
